Convene, a hospitality brand designing and operating premium meeting and event venues as well as flexible office space, just celebrated the grand opening of its newest New York City venue—Convene 30 Hudson Yards.

Located on the 24th floor of the iconic skyscraper, Convene 30 Hudson Yards was designed in partnership with acclaimed architecture and design firm Woods Bagot, which incorporated much of the building’s striking original design.

The venue spans 72,000 sf and offers 10 unique meeting spaces with a maximum capacity of just under 1,500 guests. The centerpiece is a 780-person grand hall, the largest single event space within Convene’s New York City portfolio, featuring robust theatrical lighting, a premium point-source speaker system, and breathtaking city skyline views.

The strategic use of movable walls allows the grand hall to be divided into two smaller rooms and there are three other divisible event spaces—each of which can be custom-configured to serve various function types and sizes—as well as six boardrooms, a speaker green room, and a respite room. An expansive central gallery with two 20-foot LED video walls and projection mapped partitions provides the ideal backdrop for networking, exhibitors, food breaks, and cocktail receptions.

The design of Convene 30 Hudson Yards draws inspiration from Chelsea’s renowned gallery scene, embracing clean, bright aesthetics and flexible spaces that enhance visibility and adaptability. Like the beloved High Line, the venue forges meaningful connections through journeys that capture the dynamic energy of Midtown and the West Side.

Mid-Century Modernism infuses warmth through carefully curated materials, fixtures and furnishings, providing contrasting depth against the building’s contemporary structure and creating a distinctive event destination where New York’s creative energy meets functional excellence.

This is the third time Convene and Woods Bagot have partnered to create a high-design meeting and event venue; they previously completed two London projects: Convene Sancroft, St. Paul’s and Convene 22 Bishopsgate, both of which have won awards recognizing the venue design.

Convene partners with meeting and event planners to provide clients with everything needed for a seamless meeting and event experience, including:
